Yay! A Gummy thread. I'm truly looking forward to her Japanese debut.
I think she is so under-appreciated.

I don't think she is under appreciated, she just hasn't made any music that has made her stand out. Gummy has a good voice, but not the music. Her music doesn't have a pulse. Gummy is in need for a major reinvention. I like her on other peoples tracks though.

Yeah I have to agree. When I first heard about her it was rave reviews on her voice.
Then when I did get a chance to hear her music I was a little dissapointed.
I wasn't exactly into ballad music at all back then anyway.

Gummy's fourth album, Vol.4 Comfort, is dropping this month. It is up for pre-order @ YesAsia.

I've finally listened to Vol.4 Comfort after having it sit on my iPod for almost a month. Overall, I like it. I really like I'm Sorry feat. TOP and the remix is even better. Other tracks that I like are Intro (Work It Now feat. G-Dragon), Clap Your Hands feat. Perry, Let Get It Party feat. 4rpm, and I'm Gonna Miss U feat. Kim Ji Eun. As you can probably tell, the upbeat tracks appeal to me more than the ballads. There's nothing wrong with the ballads though. I'm just not that into ballads.

It's funny how you listened to it EXACTLY the same time I did.
Even funnier how I have the exact same opinion on it

LOL! You know, when I first saw you on these forums and saw that you listen to Otsuka Ai, I assumed that our musical tastes were completely different (I have nothing against Otsuka Ai but her music just isn't what I'm into). Now, it seems that we have a lot more in common, musically, than I first thought.
Anyway, I chose to listen to this album today as I decided that I'll listen to nothing but one album per day (I listened to the Wonder Girls's Vol.1 The Wonder Years yesterday and I'll listen to M's Vol.4 M Rizing tomorrow). I find that listening to an album once is not enough for me to really determine whether I like it or not. Also, the number of albums that I've been meaning to listen to has multiplied with Klonoa posting up recommendations.
I'm onto my fourth listen through of Vol.4 Comfort and I'm Sorry feat. TOP has just finished. I really like that song. It's definitely my favourite track on the album.

I like a lot of the more upbeat tracks on the album too, but my most favorite track on the album is Hallucination. I think last week one day when I was getting my things ready for school the day before, I put the song on replay and listened to it like 10 times. Crazy.

haha. Really??
I'm actually surprised Ai-chan is my favorite, being that I used to hate her with a passion a year ago!
Like I posted in another thread, we have pretty much the same taste in K-Pop and not in J-Pop. Notice how we're the only two on the forum who are REALLY getting into K-Pop and indulging in Klonoa's reccommendations this year. I can say for myself that I'm beginning to like K-Pop a little bit more than J-Pop - this year, at least.
Go us!!

I know Gummy already released an album this year, but she needs to release another A.S.A.P.
